Chrysler for sale
The Chrysler enthusiast loves to see a classic for sale that hails from their beloved Chrysler camp. Chrysler has been a powerful force as well as a meek production. The company has stood the test of time and its enthusiasts have remained true.Walter P. Chrysler was a successful business man who knew a thing or two about the industrial game. The Chrysler empire was certain to have a classic for sale in the future.
Like many upstarts, Chrysler set it sights on the new and different. The Airflow of 1934 was its first attempt at innovation. The Airflow was the first aerodynamically designed production car. Like most first attempts, at being first in the auto industry, the Airflow was a flop, but it would make a nice classic for sale today. World War II stifled the Chrysler company due to the war effort, but all the big auto manufacturers were tied up in the war effort. Chrysler was busy making Sherman Tanks an extremely powerful vehicle that would be a unique classic for sale, but hey, its a Chrysler.
The years after the war brought some nice extras to the car market. Transforming the automobile from its utilitarian platform to one of luxury. Chrysler brought the transistor radio, and power steering to the party. A song and a smile to replace the grimace of steering at low speeds. Chrysler started the power move which the company would become known for as the years progressed. The champion of this power movement was the “hemi-head engine. Chrysler also introduced fuel injection during this era. This took the Chrysler to another level and destined them to have a classic for sale today.
The power of Chrysler rang out when the Chrysler 300 ignition was turned over, and the Chrysler muscle was unleashed. In the 1960s a number of models hit the market such as the Dodge Dart, originally an unassuming little six cylinder. The Dart couldn’t outrun the muscle power of the Chrysler Corporation of the 60s The Muscle car era had begun Barracuda, the Charger,
Super B, and and all led the powerful era of the 60’s. Chrysler rolled on to offer these models as guaranteed classic for sale.
The gas shortages of the 70s reigned in the horsepower growth spurt of the 1960s and early 70s. Chrysler was forced to reinvent themselves. After a bit of misfires during the 70s Chrysler once again offered an unassuming future classic for sale. The K car was a hit in 1983. The K Car gave Chrysler a chance to enjoy some breathing room and work on some other future classic for sale.
