The top speed was about 65 miles per hour. Production of the Model T ended in 1927, with a total of 15 million built. When new, the Model T cost $850. The replacement for the Model A classics for sale, was “the little deuce coupe,” introduced in 1932, and memorialized in a Beach Boys song. It was the first mass-produced V8, and had 65 horsepower. It was featured in the film American Graffiti.
