Geo for sale
Geo classics for sale were introduced by General Motors in 1989. The brand was intended to compete with the small economy cars being imported into the United States in the late 1980s, such as Suzuki, Isuzu, and Toyota. Geo produced small cars and sport utility vehicles. These vehicles were manufactured by General Motors in cooperation with Japanese manufacturers. One of the more popular Geo classics for sale was the Geo Metro, an economy car produced from 1989 until 2001. Most of these were five-door hatchbacks, although a convertible was briefly produced and a notchback was available only in Canada. All Metros had a three-cylinder engine and came in manual five-speed or automatic transmission. These compact vehicles were capable of up to 58 miles per gallon on the highway. The Metro was discontinued in 2001.
The Geo Prizm was similar to a Toyota Corolla. Prizm also competed with Chevrolet’s own Cavalier models. While Prizm classics for sale was considered a good buy, and had even won awards, the Corolla was consistently more popular. The most powerful Prizm had 130 horsepower.
The Geo Spectrum was initially sold as a Chevrolet, and rebranded when Geo was developed. It was only sold for a year as a Geo before being replaced by the Geo Storm. The Storm was a sporty car with a three-speed automatic or five-speed manual transmission. The upscale GSi version offered a four-speed automatic transmission, a more powerful engine, bucket seats, and a rear spoiler. The most performance-based vehicle of the Geo lineup, Storm classics for sale were discontinued in 1993.

It came as a base or upscale LSi version. The Tracker was the last Geo to be produced. When the Geo brand was discontinued in 1997, the Tracker was sold as a Chevrolet until 2004. In 2005, it was replaced by the Chevrolet Equinox.
As interest in compact economy cars waned in the 1990s, the Geo brand was incorporated into Chevrolet. Beginning in 1998, remaining Geo models were sold as Chevrolets. Geo cars were considered dependable and many are still on the road. With simple engines and designs, they are easy to repair and get great gas mileage. Because of their reliability, efficiency Geo has a loyal following, and Geo classics for sale are still widely available.
