Mazda for sale

Mazda classics for sale had a slightly odd beginning as the company was initially operated as a cork factory. Jujiro Matsuda began the Toyo Cork Kogyo in Japan in 1920. The plan was to grow out of cork production and into industrial production. By 1929, the company was making machine tools and had produced their first vehicle. These were tri-cycle trucks known as Mazda-Go-a.

The company was named Mazda after the Zoroastrian God, Ahura Mazda. This name appeared on all vehicles produced by the company, and they trademarked their first logo in 1934. Around the same time, they started making small eight-wheeled trucks.

Mazda had been developing a small sedan when World War II hit, and it was postponed to support the war. However, almost half the factory was destroyed by an atom bomb in 1945. The company rebuilt itself and introduced the R360 coupe in 1960. This was one of the first two-door passenger cars Mazda made. The compact pickup truck B Series 1500 was also introduced. By 1963, one million Mazdas had been sold. The next year, the Protégé classics for sale would be available in North America.

The Mazda Cosmo was the first rotary-powered sports car. The rotary engine gave it a lot of power and little weight as compared with piston-powered engines that required a big V6 or V8. The company did well with this model until the oil crisis of the 1970s, when the public turned to more fuel-efficient vehicles.

Mazda did not give up the rotary engine entirely, but rather refocused it for the sports car enthusiast. The RX-7 classic for sale was the only twin-turbocharged rotary engine car. With 255 horsepower and weighing just 2,800 pounds, it drove like a race car. However, the car did not sell well in the United States, perhaps because of the cramped interior. It was sold for several more years in Japan. Many of these classics for sale have been beat up over the years, but good ones can still be found through car clubs. The better ones are worth up to $50,000.

The Mazda Miata is perhaps the world’s most popular sports car, with over 750,000 sold. It features rear wheel drive, a twin-cam four-cylinder engine, independent suspension, and a two-seat roadster body modeled after the Triumph, Lotus, and Austin-Healey. A convertible top is standard and a hardtop is optional. These classics for sale are known for having great electrical systems and are tough little cars.

In the 1980s the company partnered with Ford. They shared platforms and factories to manufacture Mazda classics for sale.
